At the conclusion of each semester, players have the option of voluntarily reporting their academic results to the coaching staff for recognition and also to help the club maintain a historical average of academic performance for the entire club. This program is provided through the Academic Achievement and Advisory Program.

Currently, 47 student athletes are participating in the Academic Achievement and Advisory Program offered by Tennessee Rugby. 24 players made the academic honor roll with 11 receiving Dean's List honors. The overall average GPA for UT Rugby during the Fall 2007 semester was 2.98.
