Directions to the Home Field of
The University of Tennessee Men's Rugby Club
Fulton Bottoms Rugby Field
From Campus
To reach Fulton
Bottoms from campus, follow Cumberland Avenue west
through the strip. After
you go under the railroad tracks, take a right into Tyson Park. Park
in the first set of parking spaces that you come to and follow
the walking/running trail back under Kingston Pike to the field.

From East of Knoxville
Follow I-40
(ignoring the I-640 bypass) in Knoxville. Take Exit 387 (17th Street)
Exit. Follow
the exit ramp all the way around the sharp right hand curve (following
the signs directing you to 17th Street). At the traffic light, take a
right onto 17th Street. Follow 17th up the hill passing under a couple
of traffic lights. At the top of the hill, go straight through the three
way stop (warning- oncoming traffic has the right-of-way) Head straight
back down the hill to the traffic light(Cumberland Ave). Take a right
on Cumberland Avenue and travel all the way through the commercial district
(bars, fast food, and bookstores) As you reach the bottom of Cumberland
Ave (where the name changes to Kingston Pike), you'll go under a railroad
overpass- after this overpass, take a right into Tyson Park and start
looking for parking. After you park, follow the walking/jogging path
across the creek and back under Cumberland
Avenue to the field.
From West of Knoxville
Follow I-75N / I-40E
into the downtown area, staying on I-40 at the I-640 split (by-pass).
After passing the I-640 split you will take Exit 386B for Highway 129S
/ Alcoa Highway / Airport (all the same road). Follow Alcoa Highway to
the first exit (Kingston Pike / Cumberland Ave). Exit and take a left
at the end of the exit ramp (traffic light). After traveling under the
overpass take an immediate left into Tyson Park. Start looking for a
place to park. You get to the rugby field by following the walking /
running
trail across the creek and back under Kingston Pike.
