Volunteer Rugby Maxim
Family, School, Rugby...
A club member must always keep their priorities in the proper order and lead a disciplined lifestyle that assures a compliance to the Volunteer Rugby Maxim: Family, School, Rugby - in that order. If a club member isn't taking care of the first two, they have no business being involved with the third. Rugby at Tennessee should enhance the collegiate experience; not be a detriment to it.
Principles of UTRFC Rugby
- Possession —
You can't score without the ball.
- Go Forward —
Keep the ball moving to wards the opponent’s goal line.
- Continuity —
share possession with teammates and provide
solid possession transfer.
- Support —
Support the ball and demonstrate a commitment to possession.
- Pressure —
Keep pressure on opposition and
maintain a constant, solid attack.
Standards of UTRFC Rugby

Take personal responsibility in your faith,
