2001 UT Old Boys Developmental Camp
September 8 & 9

The 2001 Old Boys Developmental Camp was conducted on September 8 and 9 at the Fulton Bottoms Rugby Park with over a dozen Old Boys returning to train over 45 of the current UTRFC players. Each year, alumni of the Tennessee Rugby Club return to Knoxville for a weekend of training and skills development with the UT players and invited guests.

Saturday
The morning session featured a training grid spread over Fulton Bottoms with each station directed by two to three Old Boys. Each group of players (6 to 8) spent 20 minutes at each station which was designed to develop a specific skill. In the afternoon session, players were divided into units based on positions thereby allowing each Old Boy to instruct his specialty.

Saturday Evening
That evening, the Old Boys hosted the entire UTRFC side for dinner at Barley's Tap House in the Old City. After downing plenty of pizza, the guys got to watch a replay of the Australia v. New Zealand Tri-Nations match followed by the UT v. Arknansas football game.

Sunday
On Sunday, following the team photo, the traditional Orange and White scrimmage was held.
